11:40 pm - Extranet: Picture Description: Techniques Used
I refer you to the "Edit Info" page for each picture. Under the heading "Picture Techniques Used" is everything I could possibly think of except smudging. In my opinion, it would be a good idea to add this option. Contrary to popular belief, smudging isn't always a given; it's not always used with pencils and even if it is, the artist may want to highlight pictures that have used a considerable amount of smudging compared to others. Think of anime pictures coloured in the style of blockish shading, or even cartoons. What about line drawings?
I accept that if you do approve this, it might be difficult to add it to the search engine.

Yes, smudging (which is also known by a host of other terms, by the way) is a technique, and it can be used in almost any media. However, that's not a list of techniques, despite its title.

It might be more appropriate to change it from "Picture Techniques Used" to "Media Used", because that's what it's a list of. Of course, that would be if it was important really enough to bother changing. :)

All of the damn checkboxes could use revamping and updating in all areas, from media to themes to inspirations. Of course they're not meant to have everything, but they're missing stuff... and hot damn, the art side has much more options than writing, I just noticed when helping my little sister join. :D Artists have so many more main categories and everything to pick from, we don't even have inspirations, and I swear art has more theme boxes to check too. Some equality here, damnit. ;)

OK, partially joking, of course - but it would be nice to get the options expanded and revised for all areas (don't know what FQ has).
